Removing Stuck Bolts

When working with bolts and other machines and parts, it can be hard to get them loose if they are rusted in place. When bolts are rusted in place, sometimes force is not going to be enough to get them loose. You can find a spray to loosen bolts that can help make repairs easier.

Why Use Spray to Loosen Bolts?

When it comes to working to get rusted bolts moving, penetrating oil is almost always a better option than any other option out there. Though you might think sheer brute force is all you need, it is always better to try something like a penetrating oil first then move on to other methods.

The reason for this is that bolts that are rusted do have the potential to break off where they are stuck. If that happens, you then do have to figure out how you are going to get the shaft of the bolt out after the head has broken off. This is a serious issue that does make it hard to keep working if the bolt shears off.

Another issue is that if you are trying too hard to remove a bolt, you can get injured as well. Rusted bolts are hard to remove. It is always best to take the time to make sure you are doing all you can to get that bolt out safely and easily.
